Horizontal polyethylene tanks
Manufacturing Material:
LDPE – Low Density Polyethylene
100% virgin material, free from recycled materials, ensuring superior quality, durability, and long service life.
Food-grade and compliant with health standards for drinking water storage.
Manufacturing Process:
Manufactured using rotational molding technology, which produces strong and uniform tanks without any welding joints. This process ensures consistent wall thickness throughout the tank.
The tank consists of 3 layers (White – Black – White):
-
The outer bright white layer reflects sunlight and heat away from the tank.
-
The middle black layer blocks light penetration into the water, preventing the formation of algae and bacteria.
-
The inner layer is smooth white for enhanced hygiene and easy cleaning.
The tanks are equipped with brass fittings for easy installation and extended service life.
Features & Benefits:
High Durability:
The tanks are designed to withstand various weather conditions, including UV rays and high temperatures, while also offering excellent resistance to impact and corrosion.
Easy Cleaning & Maintenance:
The inner surfaces are smooth and non-porous, making them easy to clean and reducing the growth of bacteria and algae.
Lightweight:
Polyethylene tanks are lightweight compared to metal or concrete tanks, making transportation and installation easier.
Chemical Resistance:
The tanks are resistant to chemicals of varying concentrations.
Warranty:
Five years against manufacturing defects, provided that the customer installs the tank on a strong, solid, and non-hollow base. In case of storing any substance other than water, please contact the company or authorized dealer first.
Note:
Sales of horizontal tanks represent only 5% compared to vertical tank sales, mainly for the following reasons:
-
Design Limitations:
The main load is concentrated on the tank’s cubic base rather than being distributed directly on the ground as in vertical tanks, which may lead to technical issues over long-term use. -
Increased Weight & Thickness:
To overcome the previous issue, the tank’s weight and wall thickness were increased compared to vertical tanks of the same capacity. This improves durability and allows a warranty of up to 5 years, but also makes the price approximately 50% higher than vertical polyethylene tanks. -
Limited Large Capacities:
Large-capacity horizontal tanks are less available compared to vertical polyethylene tanks.
